BARCO RLM-W8
8,000 lumens, three-chip DLP WUXGA projector
Barco’s RLM-W8 brings the saturated colors of three-chip DLPTM projection to events and fixed installations, at the price of single-chip DLPTM technology.
With an enhanced contrast, quick and creative stacking options as well as built-in warping capabilities for curved surfaces, Barco’s RLM-W8 is a versatile choice for mid- to large-sized venues. In addition, it features blending technology to create seamless composite images across a canvas of any size. The RLM-W8 continues the RLM line’s tradition of silence as well as low energy consumption.

Early 2010, Barco launched the RLM-W6 as its first Barco Elements three-chip DLPTM projector in a single-chip DLPTM price range. It offers a top-end image quality along with an environmentally conscious profile, by being ten times more silent and 33% less energy-consuming than competing products. As an extension of the RLM family, the RLM-W8 continues these themes, while adding more features that suit rental and staging environments.
While Barco’s RLM-W8 projector is primarily designed for the rental and staging market, it shares all features that make the RLM family a great fit into fixed installations with its smaller cousin. This renders the RLM-W8 an attractive three-chip DLPTM alternative to the top-end brightness projectors in the single-chip DLPTM range, for environments that need 8,000 lumens of brightness and three-chip DLPTM’s superior image quality.
